The National Agricultural Technology Project (NATP) is a dynamic instrument of introducing major changes in the agricultural research and extension systems of the country, besides developing their capabilities to meet future challenges. The ambitious project involves various agencies to deal with different components, namely (I) Strengthening ICAR Organization and Management System, (ii) Supporting the Development of Agro-Eco-regions and (iii) Innovations in Technology Dissemination (ITD). The National Institute of Agricultural Extension Management (MANAGE) as a facilitating agency has a key role in the Innovations in Technology Dissemination (ITD) component of the project operating in seven states of the country. As an implementing agency, MANAGE is responsible for providing a framework for an integrated extension delivery system at the district level. One of the important responsibilities of MANAGE is to provide basic information and guidelines about operational aspects of NATP to facilitate its smooth implementation.
